The 5th edition of the Mobel Sierra Espuña Cycle Race will be held on the next Sunday 4 JuneThe start and finish line will be at the Paraje del Monasterio de Santa Eulalia, a place known as La Santa de Totana.
Registrations are now open for the new edition of one of the most beautiful and demanding cycle rides in southern Spain. An authentic route of medium and high mountain for 100 km and almost 2,000 metres of positive difference in altitude. All the protagonism of the route is for Sierra Espuña; the central massif of the Region of Murcia and the towns that surround it: Totana, Alhama de Murcia, El Berro and Aledo. It is organised and coordinated by the Club Ciclista Santa Eulalia and Mobel Sport.

Timetables:
- Pick up of bibs: From 7:00 a.m. at the Martín de La Santa cafeteria.
- Official start: 8:30 a.m. from the Arch of the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia (Totana).
- Estimated time of arrival: 13:00 h. at the El Ángel picnic area (a few metres from the start).
The organisation and logistics of the event have the experience of the Club Ciclista Santa Eulalia, which ensures total control of the event and a guarantee for the safety and enjoyment of all cyclists. The route will be perfectly coordinated with the Guardia Civil de Tráfico and fully signposted, a structure like the best cycle touring marches. The route will have mechanical assistance vehicles, two refreshment stations, two free timed sections and a great meal at the end of the race for all the participants and their companions. In addition, the La Santa de Totana site has a large parking area, recreational areas, restaurant and bar/cafeteria.
This year, the Marcha Mobel Sierra Espuña presents several new features in the route that make its profile a little more abrupt despite reducing some kilometres; the section of La Perdiz (in very bad condition) is eliminated and from Casa Leyva it will go up to the Casa Forestal de Huerta Espuña (newly asphalted section) to start the ascent to the Collado Bermejo from the area of Fuente del Hilo. The route to Zarzadilla de Totana has also been modified and instead, after the descent of Las Alquerías, the peloton will head towards a circuit through Aledo that includes the ascent to the dreaded "Cuestas de Cemento".
